Technician’s Note: When installing these into a Wunder-Bar manifold, always inspect the internal O-ring on the manifold block before seating the fitting. Because these are the “short” 1.5″ version, they offer less clearance for tool access; ensure your Oetiker clamp ear is positioned facing outward to allow for easy nipper access during future maintenance. A small dab of food-grade lubricant on the fitting’s shoulder will ensure it seats fully without pinching the manifold seal.
